Mini cameras have been incredibly popular these days. Flip is a very good example. All the credit goes to their small size and user friendly attitude towards the user. But when it comes to audio, the incredible flip sounds quite lame. And here is Samson’s Zoom Q3 which tries to solve the problem by integrating a pro microphone into a small sized camera like Flip. The Zoom Q3’s intergrated stereo microphones is far better than the one on the flip, or even the Samsung HMX-U10. The camera can record in Mpeg4 on a 32GB SDHC cards, with which one can record up to 16 hours of video.
It features a 2.4″ LCD screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 which makes viewing quite easy on the go. It has got the ability to record at 640 x 480 at 30 frames/sec and runs on two standard AA batteries. Samson Zoom Q3 is both, Windows and Mac OS compatible.
