We have spotted Sony S-Series Walkman couple a times last week. It has got a rear speaker with grill-laden and it seems like it has been unveiled accidentally on a French retailer Materiel’s website. According to the specs given on the website, which doesn’t seem to be fake, there are two versions, 8GB NWZ-S544 and 16GB NWZ-S545 which feature a 2.4-inch QVGA widescreen display along with stereo speakers and a microphone to record speech. Apart from that, it has got a FM tuner and is powered by Li-ion battery which claims to output 42 hours of audio and 6.5 hours of video. It can play many file formats, which include MP3, non-DRM AAC, WMA, H.254, MPEG4, and WMV. The 8GB model is listed for about $182 while the 16GB is priced at about $211. We’re still waiting for official unveiling of the device by Sony itself. Expect it to be in US very soon.
