Samsung Launches It’s Own Movie Download Service

We’ve seen Apple’s iTunes Store, selling movie rentals, and pretty much successive as well. Samsung wants to do something similar and that has launched a service which will be seen in action in Europe shortly. Samsung will be launching its Acetrax-powered Samsung Movies service in the UK and Germany (where it’s already live and in beta stage) with more launches elsewhere in Europe down the road, offering 2,000 movies and TV shows from Paramount, Universal, Warner Bros., and Momentum Pictures and others at £2.49 (which converts to about US $3.60) for a 24-hour rental and £4.99 ($7.22) to buy the goods outright. Europeans, have fun!
