Lenovo recalls six Thinkpad models
Lenovo’s has recalled six of its ThinkPad models for changing the batteries. The batteries that were packed with the product were apparently faulty and was causing multitudes of problems, bringing up some error messages like “irreparable damage” or “battery cannot be charged,” and so on. The most serious problem was the short capacity batteries, which apparently made Lenovo customers to repent for their purchase. The recalled models include R60, R61, T60, T61, X60, and the X61. Lenovo has also developed diagnostic tool, which is free and is being distributed on their website, just to check whether you are one of those affected.
