GeeksPhone “One” Android Smartphone Debuted
Well, the phone looks a bit more like Samsung Omnia, but don’t get fooled infact it’s something more exiting. What you’re actually looking is an Android handset from Spain by a firm called GeeksPhone. The phone, GeeksPhone One was debuted at Barcelona today. This phone is powered by a 625MHz PXA310 core and includes pretty standard features for a smartphone like quadband EDGE plus HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, AGPS, 3.2 megapixel primary camera in the back and a front facing cam for video calling purpose. It also has a microSD expansion slot. Features sound great to me. It has resistive 3.2-inch touchscreen which also sounds great. The phone obviously runs on Google’s Android OS. The price is pretty reasonable as well. GeeksPhone will be selling it somewhere between $352 to $422, unlocked when launched.
