A Korean firm called Safa has released many forgettable music player in it’s start up days, and now what they have released isn’t going to grab them an award or something, but it surely looks fun. The new Xing LED is a unique 12mm thick DAP which surprisingly doesn’t run out of juice for 12 hours on a single charge. There’s no much information released by the company, like the storage capacity, file format support etc., but some notable features which we can’t overlook is that Xing LED features 27 LEDs which can be used to do all sorts of things regarding display. There’s no price information either, but it’s going to be quite cheap, and in the mean time we will keep you people informed as soon as we get some information about the same.

Motorola Droid is yet another powerful device from Motorola running Google’s Android OS, in fact, it’s the most powerful android device till today. Apart from the all raw power it has got from the OMAP3 core, it looks rock solid metallic beast and is said to have killer battery life. It seemingly has got a flat keyboard, but still it performs admirably. And, it’s also the first device to run Android 2.0 variant and it runs smoothly on the OMAP3 core, with which you can interact through a large 3.7-inch capacitive display sporting roughly WVGA resolution. Android devices are always known to have less processing power, but this one just kicks all other phones in terms of everything. And the icing on the cake is the magnetic sensor which actually detects accessory dock which will be sold later. The phone will be released on 28th of this month and if it is rightly priced, it will be a hit.

Elecom has launched a USB-powered numeric touch keypad. All you have to do is plug it into your machine’s USB port and tap digits on the touch pad and watch the numbers magically appear on your calculator app. Apart from all this, you can also use this as your trackpad. It also supports a wide variety of multi gesture functions, zoom in & out, shift up & down, are to name some. So if you’re on a laptop which has a trackpad which doesn’t support gestures or a desktop, then this is for you. It’s currently available in Japan only and costs ¥6,500 which is about $72 and you can get it next month in the US.

It is a good note-perfect reproduction of the MBP’s unibody looks, but that’s not enough. Now a apple fanboy may come and rant about Macbook Pro’s unique features like multitouch buttonless glass trackpad. HP says whoa. They have taken care of those fanbodys. HP has reproduced the unique buttonless glass multitouch trackpad, and it features the new Intel Core i7 processor. Hence, its better than MBP in terms of capability. Let’s wait and see if it is rightly priced.

For the time being, Lenovo has put IdeaCenter Q110 nettop on sale. Well, at a price of $399, its quite a good deal for this slim machine which is powered by an Intel Atom 230 processor (1.6GHz, single core), Windows Vista Home Premium 64, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD and ofcourse, the ion platform. It has got an I would actually wait for Windows 7 to launch and then buy the machine preloaded with it, but if you are into Vista you can grab it right and then grab a free upgrade disc when Windows Se7en launches. The machine does not come with keyboard, mouse or monitor, but you can take advantage of it’s HDMI port to hook it up to your HDTV.

Moblin is basically focused on building a Linux-based platform specially optimized for portable devices like Netbooks, MID etc. And today, Dell has announced that it will be shipping developer-edition Mini 10v with Canonical’s Moblin Netbook Remix pre-installed on it. There is no word on pricing of the device. All we know is that it will be going on sale tomorrow (September 24) on Dell.com. According to me, if it is priced right, it will be a hit.

Today, we have information about ASUS Eee PC 1001HA, basically an entry level 10.1″ model, but this one has got a makeover with a nice textured design. Asus Eee PC 1001HA will be available in three versions, the one with Windows XP, with Linux and no OS pre-installed version. No Windows 7? Okay, there is no much change in the specification as such, and basically it’s the same as most of the other netbooks in the market. In detail, it is powered by an Intel Atom N270 CPU, with a 160gig hard drive and a 3cell battery of 2200 mAh. Notable changes has been done to chassis, although it makes all the distinctive elements of the series Seashell, but presents a novel texture geometric reliefs on the palm rest and the cover. No word on price or availability.

Mini cameras have been incredibly popular these days. Flip is a very good example. All the credit goes to their small size and user friendly attitude towards the user. But when it comes to audio, the incredible flip sounds quite lame. And here is Samson’s Zoom Q3 which tries to solve the problem by integrating a pro microphone into a small sized camera like Flip. The Zoom Q3’s intergrated stereo microphones is far better than the one on the flip, or even the Samsung HMX-U10. The camera can record in Mpeg4 on a 32GB SDHC cards, with which one can record up to 16 hours of video.
It features a 2.4″ LCD screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 which makes viewing quite easy on the go. It has got the ability to record at 640 x 480 at 30 frames/sec and runs on two standard AA batteries. Samson Zoom Q3 is both, Windows and Mac OS compatible.
