Most of you know about the TerreStar Networks and there were some news about it working closely with AT&T and now it’s time for the results. The carrier is apparently will go live with an extension of service that will involve satellites, giving its premium customers an ability to roam between its very own GSM network and TerreStar’s satellite network. If everything goes as planned, AT&T will be resell satellite phones soon and the new network will provide coverage across Canada and the US, including the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. There’s no word on how pricey it would be, but don’t expect it to be cheap. Its rumored that it will run around $1 per minute while the handsets will cost you around $700.
