There wasn’t much information available when Archos announced its new line of PMPs last month, but now I’ve got the full spec list and it’s UK pricing. The flagship model named the “3 Vision” which comes with a 3-inch touchscreen. It’s got 8gigs of storage and there is a microSDHC card slot, just in case if you run out of memory. There is a video playback option, obviously. Other basic features like voice recorder, calendar, stopwatch and an FM transmitter for streaming music to your Hi-Fi are also included. It’s expected to compete with iPod touch, this gadget is prices at £90, which converts to about $148. Other models in the line include is 2 Vision which has got a 1.8-inch screen and loses video playback support, but gains a 16GB option and is priced at £50 which converts to about $82. The last in the line is the Archos Clipper. It’s a 2GB player priced at £20 ($32).
