Is the digital DVD work with my old TV without a digital?

I am thinking of buying a new DVD (the old stopped) and was wondering if i should buy a digital recorder. My TV is about 10 years but is still working, so is a digital recorder to work with my old TV, or need a digital TV? I will be buying a new TV, but not for some time yet. Anyne In addition, there are no recommendations for a new DVD? Thanks

First things. As for the DVD to keep the names brands! Panasonic is the best. Sony, RCA, etc are too good. Try to stay away from the second and generic companies. While prices are low the risk. Sometimes a great job and sometimes they are wrong. I've there to do and stick with the brand name. ALL DVD to digital. They all have analog A / V connections, who will work with any TV. If the current TV does not have the level of the A / V connections, we will have to obtain the RF modulator, which are available at any place for 10 dollars – 20 dollars. If you need help call I can email detailed instructions to call for each installation. If your TV is working, then leave him alone. It will work well with DVD. As long as your TV, if he clear signal will display a clear picture and sound. Replace it when the breaks. My main TV is 35 "Sears (RCA) stereo TV. It works like new and to 12 years of age.
