RAID Card question?

I have The 3ware IDE RAID card, with which we intend to create a RAID 1 array will be the first one 40-pin IDE cable works with this card if I need to use a 80-pin To my drives should be jumpered? Both the master and it does not matter?

Use 80pin cable and the jumpers to CS (Cable Select), you can get the 40-pin cables, but without a specific model number and a link to the online manual for the RAID card is difficult will help.
